Tired decor and facilities!!! Noise disturbance from other guests and clanging pipes during the night!!! Bathroom fixtures require urgent upgrades for a decent stay!!!

Just a balanced option for a quick layover in Matlock with reasonable value. The service was outstanding, especially from the manager who was very attentive. Make sure to confirm your amenities before arrival.

Couldn't recommend more for a weekend respite.

The location is ideal for visiting nearby attractions, and the room was spacious with effective cooling during the heatwave. we faced disappointment when our pre-ordered dinner was unavailable just before our reservation. breakfast had several service hiccups, including missing items and delayed coffee, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Awesome views and cozy stay!

We spent 2 nights in a small but comfy room. The location is just perfect! We walked to the Heights of Abraham in no time. The breakfast was tasty, but the coffee took ages to arrive. Kind of annoying having to ask for cups too. Dinner reservations were a bit of a mess, but we found a cool pub nearby.

Just a proper fit for a transient stop in Matlock with all in all brilliant value for money. Connor was a lovely person and made us feel really welcome during our stay. Make sure to appreciate the clean rooms that smell lovely.

the location was just brilliant, we were super comfy in the room with the heater. staff was really friendly and helpful. breakfast was average but the coffee machine was great. the room was clean and had nice carpets which i liked lol. overall it was a good stay for our night.

Great spot for exploring with lovely river walks right outside. Our group had a fantastic time, and we even strolled to nearby attractions without needing the car!

we stayed here for 3 nights and it exceeded our expectations. the king room was comfortable with great amenities, and it was perfectly located just a short walk from both matlock and matlock bath. the shower was fantastic, and having tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch.

I appreciated the clean room and the friendly staff during my stay, and being just a pleasant walk away from Hall Leys Park and Matlock Bath made my weekend perfect for exploring and enjoying the scenery.

Ideal location for cooling off after a long day, with the stunning river walks at your doorstep. Happy to have coffee and tea facilities in the room, very handy for a late-night recharge.

The décor is clearly in need of an update, with worn carpets and some furniture showing signs of age. Be prepared for noise disturbances, both from traffic outside and neighboring guests that can break your sleep. The bathroom could use some love. poor ventilation led to condensation issues and some mould around the shower area. I also noticed unclear pricing for the breakfast that left us scratching our heads about what we actually paid for. not a terrible place, but there's definitely room for improvement.
